Jumper

There was never any reason to day
you let your life pass you by
one last step
and down you fall
your phone rang
"1 missed call"

There was nothing
that they could do
shutting off lines
yet still the train came roaring

The darkness
consuming
blackout
so close
looming

And the cars race
such fast pace
to clean up
they don't care
as i watch
i think
it's not their friend down there
but they all go the same way these days

This is too close to home but bloody well done!!
